Dr. Adrianna Natale received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus in December 2020 and was honored to represent her class as valedictorian. Following graduation, she spent her first two years of practice working in a busy chiropractic office in South Jersey.
A native of Washington Township, she attended Paul VI High School followed by Rowan University, earning a Bachelorβs of Science degree in biochemistry.
Dr. Natale takes a holistic stance in caring for each patient β recognizing that all lifestyle factors must be considered β nutrition, physical activity, work life, and stress levels to name a few. She takes pride in helping patients identify the source of a health concern and constructing a care plan aimed to resolve the issue, rather than covering up symptoms.
Nutrition, fitness, and living a generally healthy way of life are top priorities for Dr. Natale. Whatever it is she recommends to you, she lives out in her own daily life. βDoctorβ translates to βteacher,β and Dr. Adrianna wants to help you learn how to better take care of yourself so that you may enjoy a life of longevity β not only a long life, but a life filled with years of feeling your best in every way.
In her spare time, she enjoys weight lifting, walking or running outdoors, spending time with family, cooking, baking, and reading. She also enjoys weekends down the shore in the summertime.
Whether you are looking to optimize your health or are searching for pain relief, Dr. Adrianna looks forward to helping you reach your goal.
Growing up, I never had the desire to become a βdoctor.β I was a healthy kid, blessed without significant health issues. This being said, my experiences with doctors consisted of routine trips to the pediatrician for a well visit, or the infrequent sick visit for the common cold or strep throat.
Many young adults that pursue a career in healthcare choose this route because they too were once in the shoes of the patient; seeking the care of an experienced doctor for a condition requiring medical attention. Given my record of generally good health, this was not the case for me.
A series of a few very simple, yet extremely profound events led me to become a βdoctor;β specifically, a chiropractor. Not one of the events had to do with me being sick or unwell, but rather a state of vibrant health and wellness.
It began with a gym membership. I was fifteen years old when my sister suggested I join the gym with her. I can still remember a friend of mine chuckling when she found out I started working out at a gym. Most of my friends knew I was generally unathletic, never having played a sport in my life and truly never interested in doing so. I began to learn the basics of weightlifting and started doing some cardio. I felt healthier, and this sense of wellness triggered an interest in nutrition. After years of consistency, several pounds of muscle have been gained, many miles ran, and quite a bit of experience harvested. Little did I realize, a seed had been planted in me consisting of a new mindset, which began to consume my thoughts and lifestyle.
A few years later I was in search of a part-time job while studying for a BS in biochemistry at Rowan University. I began working at a chiropractic office in the summer of 2014. I didnβt know a thing about chiropractic. One night after the office had closed, my coworkers asked me if I wanted to βget adjusted.β I had no idea what to expect. That night I received my first chiropractic adjustment and began asking the first of many questions.
From then on, I would get adjusted once or twice a week after all of the patients were taken care of for the day. The topics of our conversations became more and more diverse β covering various health-related topics. Of course we talked about chiropractic, but we also discussed the traditional American healthcare paradigm β specifically that it is geared towards βsick careβ and the treatment of symptoms, rather than the cause of a condition. When my eyes were opened to this truth, I could not unsee it. I began to realize that chiropractic uses common sense to treat and help the body heal, and that the body truly is self-healing when given the proper basic care.
In addition to getting adjusted and the countless conversations about chiropractic, my personal experience while working at the office was equally impactful. I saw many patients enter the office in excruciating pain, having exhausted all other methods of pain management (besides surgery). Following a series of a few adjustments, pain levels significantly reduced. I witnessed patients seek care for conditions beyond neck and back pain. Patients with fertility issues, anxiety, and gastrointestinal issues were getting relief with chiropractic adjustments.
As a front desk receptionist, I had the pleasure to get to know patients on a personal level. Iβve observed patients from six weeks old to 90 years old get adjusted. Over a period of three years, I watched hundreds of different patients enter and exit through a door that I am so grateful to have opened so many years ago.
In 2017, I said farewell to the staff and patients at the office. I packed my bags and was bound for Port Orange, Florida where I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic school for the next three years. In December of 2020, I was honored to represent my class as valedictorian and to receive my degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
I spent my first two years in practice at a busy established chiropractic office.
Eager to share my knowledge and teach others how to live a life of vitality and wellness, I opened the doors of Natale Chiropractic & Wellness in the Fall of 2022. I look forward to each and every opportunity to help patients achieve or maintain wellness, naturally.
